Il World Energy Council stabilisce su base triennale un Work Programme che comprende Global Studies, Technical Works e Regional Studies.
Gli studi proposti nel Work Programme vengono sviluppati da gruppi di lavoro appositamente dedicati e formati da esperti provenienti dai quasi 100 Comitati Nazionali del WEC.
Gli Studi Internazionali prodotti dal WEC rappresentano un importante contributo per l’approfondimento di tematiche chiave del settore energetico.
I risultati dei Rapporti triennali sono oggetto di presentazione e dibattito all’interno di Sessioni dedicate inserite nel programma dei Congressi Mondiali dell’Energia.

“FT-WEC Energy Leaders Summit” è un evento annuale di alto livello organizzato a Londra dal Financial Times con lo scopo di far incontrare i personaggi chiave dell’industria energetica, dei governi e del mondo finanziario.

Il tema scelto per l’edizione di quest’anno - organizzata in collaborazione con il World Energy Council -mette in risalto il potenziale dei mercati energetici in via di sviluppo e l’importanza che questi avranno nella realizzazione delle future politiche energetiche  mondiali.

  22nd IPMA World...
The 22nd IPMA World Congress will be held in Rome from November 9th to 11st 2008.

The Congress is organised by IPMA, the International Project Management Association, and ANIMP, the Italian Association for the Industrial Plant Engineering.

The Conference will be focused on the theme "PROJECT MANAGEMENT TO RUN" to highlight the new and greater importance of the time-factor in the globalisation era.  

The Congress Structure includes Key-note Speeches and Panel Sessions from high profile Speakers, Paper presentations on various aspects of Projects Management and a big exhibition covering over 4,000 squares metres area.

On 3rd October 2008, within “ZEROEMISSION ROME 2008” in New Fiera di Roma, will be held the Conference:

Energy between past and future:
How conjugate energy demand, climate change and economic competitiveness?

The event – organized by WEC Italy - proposes to debate on the future trends of the world energy sector through technology development, new energy options and climate change mitigation issues.

The programme will see the presentation of  IEA “Energy Technology Perspective 2008’s Report” and the interventions of personalities from European Union, International Energy Agency, Italian Ministries and energy companies’ top management.

The Conference will be followed in the afternoon by a Technical Workshop focused on the theme of Carbon Sequestration that will see the participation of Institutional representatives and industrial experts.
